379円払おうとしたんだけどね、// I got to pay 379 yen,

店員さんの袋詰めが早くてね、// but the clerk bagged the items so fast,

10円玉7枚取れるような余裕無くてね、// I don't have the ease to get seven 10 yen coins,

後ろに並んでいる方と店員さんの袋詰めの速さの圧に負けてね、// I was overwhelmed by the pressure from the people lining up behind me and the fast bagging of the clerk,

千円で払ってしまったのね // I ended up paying with 1000 yen,

小銭か増える一方なのね〜 // The amount of small changes I have is increasing~

　

要はあの店員さんお客様を待たせない優秀な方ですねって話だよね　? // The point is that clerks are excellent people who doesn't keep customers waiting, right?
