MBC "Straight" air investigation on Gangnam clubs' "incineration teams", underage prostitution and sexual violence

Arena and Burning Sun are suspected of frequent occurence of sexual assault under the use of rape drugs. While covering the way these luxury clubs operate, The 'Straight' confirmed the identity of the so-called 'incineration team'. Their mission is to erase the traces of crimes such as drugs, prostitution and sexual assault left by VVIPs and to destroy evidence. They even carried the reagents (chemicals) in club owned vehicles and were trained professionally in how to erase the blood stains that VVIPs left as evidence of their crimes. 

"Straight" claims that Arena and Burning Sun had set aside a private space for VVIPs, and that there were sadistic sexual violence acts using drugs and criminal activities such as illegal filming. 

A VVIP guest A-sshi testified to the program that there are officetels that can only be used by those who have frequented the clubs for more than a year, the ones used by BS are three minutes away and Arena uses a lot of short term rentals around the place. These places is where the incineration team intervenes.

Text messages sent by the club to the "incinerator team" were also disclosed. When interpreting the characters written in code, the task of the incinerator team was to erase the criminal evidence left behind by select VVIPs such as drugs and sexual assault. The most important task was to remove drugs and bloodstains. They even carried reagents in the trunk of club-owned cars and said they were professionally trained in how to remove blood stains left by VVIPs as evidence of crime.

A staff member of the incinerator team told reporters in an interview that they are trained like the CSI, "We once went to clean up at 6am but found out the party wasn't over yet. The men were out of focus and didn't even seem to notice that someone had come in. The women were deliberately tied up and bleeding, it seemed like their faces were cramping (convulsing) even if they were unconscious." he said. It's assumed that the group included a figure who appeared to be a doctor doing blood transfusions.

In particular, the reporters claimed that underage prostitution was frequent. Pastor (and writer) Joo Won-kyu, who used to work undercover at the club, said, "There were two teenage girls who escaped, one of whom suffered from PTSD similar to that of war veterans and ended up being treated in a psychiatric hospital. Another one had so many abortions that they had to remove her uterus."

Despite the enormous body of criminal activity, it seems it never stopped, and the police, who were called in after reports, did not even enter the club for investigation. 'Straight' raised doubts about the lobbying of the club, which extends to the National Tax Service as well as the police, and the elite ruling class who protect them.
