AKB48 Group revisits disaster region NEW

March 11, 2019 marks the eighth anniversary of the great 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami and the Japanese idol group AKB48 Group visited the disaster region again on March 2 and 3, 2019 as part of its "Dareka no Tame Ni“ charity project. Under the motto "Together to the Future“ AKB48 Group performed for the victims of the disaster and numerous helpers in the reconstruction in the cities Otsuchi (Prefecture Iwate), Ishinomaki (Miyagi Prefecture) and Minamisoma (Fukushima Prefecture) at several "AKB48 Group Recovery Support LIVE“.
